Conferences and Events:

PNL regularly attends conferences and events throughout the year. We recently exhibited at the ICSC Western Division
Conference September 18-20, 2007 in San Diego, and are currently gearing up to exhibit at The National Brownfield Association (NBA) Conference October 16-17, 2007 in Chicago, IL.

PNL is performing remedy construction field oversight duties for U.S. Steel at a former smelter site in Kansas.

We are providing technical, project and information management services at two landfill projects, both in California; namely the Chapin Road Landfill in Monterey Park, and the City of Berkeley Landfill.
At the Ascon Landfill in Huntington Beach, California, PNL is working on the Feasibility Study for the PRP Group.

PNL continues to advise New Cure Inc. on cap construction, gas collection and leachate management at the Operating Industries, Inc. (OII) Landfill in Monterey Park, California.

PNL provides project controls resources to LNR Property Development at a major landfill redevelopment initiative in Carson, California.

PNL has successfully stewarded the PAB Oil & Chemical Superfund Site, in Abbeville, Louisiana, through its second 5 year review, as we maintain the site for the PRPs.

PNL is overseeing a treatability study to prove remedy effectiveness at the Malone Service Company Superfund Site in Texas City, Texas.

PNL has added project coordination duties at the Patrick Bayou Superfund Site, in Deer Park, Texas to our expanding roster of projects.

SPRING 2007
PNL exhibted at the 2007 ICSC Spring Convention in Las Vegas. The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. PNL offers environmental management solutions for redevelopment to ICSC's member base. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!

WINTER 2006
PNL was an exhibitor at the Brownfields 2006 Conference in Boston. We had the opportunity to meet 100's of people involved in Brownfield Redevelopment. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!

PNL is investigating the condition of tanks and their contents at the Malone Superfund site in Texas City, TX. PNL is also managing an ongoing RI/FS and providing PRP group management services.

FALL 2006
EPA has approved the WDI RA Report and the Waste Disposal Site in Santa Fe Springs, CA is now officially in O&M. This is a major milestone in the project and both EPA and the stakeholders are pleased with progress.

PNL is commissioned by the PRPs at a major Gulf coast CERCLA site to look into methods for removing waste oil and sludges from onsite tanks.

PNL continues its management work at the BKK Landfill in West Covina, CA. A PRP group has recently taken over site operations and PNL is supplying project leadership and strategic planning. PNL personnel are onsite on a daily basis.
